Metox-50W is a peroxide initiator of copolymerization of unsaturated polyester resins. They are used mainly with cobalt accelerators to cure at ambient temperature. Suitable for manual and spray laminaƟon. They can be used eg for the production of polymeric concrete.
Compared to the Metox-50 hardener, they exhibit slightly longer gelling times. Metox-50W is recommended for curing gelcoats, certain polyester lacquers, and others due to its reduced water content.
